Materials manufacturer ÃÜÌÒAV has announced the launch of its Desmopan? FR (Flame Retardant) thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) series. TPUs are highly versatile plastic materials, and this new series is specifically designed for premium flame-retardant cable jacket applications across industries where fire safety is critical, including automotive charging and consumer electronics.
Desmopan? FR is halogen-free with low-smoke characteristics, offering tailored performance levels to achieve an optimal balance of durability, safety and design flexibility. This series delivers exceptional performance, combining superior chemical resistance, high mechanical strength to withstand significant strain, and compliance with stringent regulations like VW-1, IEC 60332-1-2, RoHS and REACH.
